A detached ADU with a cedar sauna, designer kitchen and full-height glass to the garden.
Proof that the square footage cap is not a ceiling on quality. Every assembly in this building is specified to custom-home standard: continuous exterior insulation, concealed gutters, flush door details and a glazing package that would not look out of place on a house four times the size.
The sauna was the owner’s request and drove the mechanical layout — dedicated ventilation, upgraded electrical and a waterproofing detail that had to be resolved before framing rather than after.
